Anywhere we can be of service.....
Sew N Sew to partner with Camp Fire Victims, California
This year, we are also helping to bring cheer to the victims of the deadly Camp Fire in northern California. We are joining other groups in a unified effort to provide pillowcase comfort to people who have lost everything.
We have posted an easy to follow How To pattern (click to download), (How to Make a Pillowcase with French Seams Using the Burrito Method by seasonedhomemaker.com) Our own Catherine Gentile has created a 2 part video which is posted on our YouTube channel .
Fabric requirements are:
Main Fabric: 1 yard
Cuff Fabric: 1/3 yard
Trim Fabric: ¼ yard
So now it’s up to each of us to go through our stashes and find fabric that would be age appropriate for our 3 groups- 12 and under, teens and over 65s. Additionally, we have some donated fabric which we will use for this project.
Catherine Gentile will be the contact person for the Camp Fire donations. She can be reached thru firstname.lastname@example.org.
