Where Creative Friendships Are Made

Anywhere we can be of service.....
Thousands of people in California are displaced after losing their homes to two fast-moving wildfires that ignited on opposite ends of the state. To support relief and recovery efforts in the aftermath of the fires, Sew N Sew members made pillowcases to be distributed to families trying to recover from the fire.
We have posted an easy to follow How To pattern (click to download), (How to Make a Pillowcase with French Seams Using the Burrito Method by seasonedhomemaker.com) Our own Catherine Gentile has created a 2 part video which is posted on our YouTube channel .
Fabric requirements are:
Main Fabric: 1 yard
Cuff Fabric: 1/3 yard
Trim Fabric: ¼ yard
So now it’s up to each of us to go through our stashes and find fabric that would be age appropriate for our 3 groups- 12 and under, teens and over 65s. Additionally, we have some donated fabric which we will use for this project.
